Every inspection record in KOMPART is cryptographically signed with a SHA-256 hash at the moment of submission. This page allows anyone — insurers, fire services, building owners, solicitors — to independently verify that a record exists and has not been altered.
No KOMPART record matches this hash. This could mean the hash was entered incorrectly, or the record does not exist in the KOMPART system. If you believe this is an error, contact the issuing contractor.
When a contractor submits an inspection, KOMPART generates a SHA-256 hash from the structured record data. This hash is unique to that exact record — any alteration, however small, produces a completely different hash.
Every state change is logged in an append-only audit table with row-level security. Records cannot be deleted — only superseded or voided, both of which are themselves logged.
This page queries the KOMPART database directly. No login required. The hash either matches a real record or it doesn't. There is no way to fabricate a match.
SHA-256 hashed records with timestamp provenance and immutable audit trails meet the evidentiary standard for digital records under the Civil Evidence Act 1995 and BSI PAS 754.
